– Representatives of three North Ossetian non-governmental organizations –Stir Nihas, the Voice of Beslan and the Mothers of Beslan– came together on February 6 and agreed to form a council to evaluate the Beslan investigation.

First put forward by the victims of the Beslan school siege, the proposal to form the council received support from Stir Nihas as well. The coming together of representatives from all three North Ossetian non-governmental organizations was successful in that the structure of the new council was laid out.

The new council will have as its president North Caucasia ‘s Deputy Parliament Speaker Stanislav Kesayev. The body of the council will contain five people from Stir Nihas, President of the Mothers of Beslan Susanna Dudiyeva, and Co-President of the Voice of Beslan Ella Kesayeva. The council members will meet next time in March. Ella Kesayeva said that the new council would conduct a preliminary work by the time the next meeting was held.

If documents about charges of extremism for the Voice of Beslan get delivered from the Nezran court of Ingushetia to its counterpart in North Ossetia , Stir Nihas will demand that the trial be revoked. KU/ÖZ/HT
