Moscow hosts language festival

Moscow/Agency Caucasus – The second festival of languages hosted this year quests in
Moscow,
’s capital, from Adygea and Abkhazia.

The festival of languages created an occasion at the State University of Industry on October 28 for an academic presentation on both languages of Adygea and Abkhazia. The presentation came from Murat Sokhov, who is teaching the language of Circassia in Moscow . He first talked about the Adygean language at its morphological, syntactical and phonological levels. He then moved on to a discussion about the formation of various dialects of both Adygean and Abkhazian.

The guests were given a chance to see a performance of folkloric dancing, too. Different linguistic activities were also available for the guests to attend and to observe.
