Kadyrov and his boss, Putin, inaugurate largest mosque of Europe

Dzhokhar-Khala/Agency Caucasus – Russia’s Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has joined Chechnya’s President Ramzan Kadyrovin in inaugurating the largest mosque of Europe.

The new mosque was named ‘Heart of Chechnya’ and it was designed to host 10 000 prayers. It was built by Turkish workers over an area of 14 hectares.

Kadyrov has viewed the occasion as evidence that Russia does not fight against Islam.

Putin was shown around the new mosque.

Putin is known to be the mastermind of the second phase of the war that Russia devastatingly launched against Chechnya in 1999.
