Cherkessk/Agency Caucasus – Yujnii, a Karachai-Cherkessia company of agriculture, is aiming even higher as it helps at the same time to meet almost one third of the general need in Moscow, capital of Russia, for vegetables.

Huge investments over the last couple of years in the company helped to reduce the consumption of gas by 20 percent on the one hand, and to increase the output of vegetable products by 50 percent on the other. Yujnii’s policies on agricultural production make it popular with the Muscovite people. Yujnii does not use chemicals to destroy harmful insects in its lands of agriculture, for example; it rather uses a special species of butterflies that are bred in its specially designed biological labs to fight the insects.
