Two more Georgian spy aircrafts are shot down

Sukhum/Agency Caucasus – Abkhazian air forces shot down two more Georgian spy aircrafts as they flew on Sunday over the Abkhazian airspace.

The official announcement came from Ruslan Kishmaria, special representative of the Abkhazian Presidency in Gal.

The first Georgian spy aircraft was shot down at 4.06 p.m. while it was flying over the Dihazurga village of Gal province and the second one at 4.51 p.m. over the Gargyab village, said Kristian Bjaniya, press secretary of the Abkhazian presidency. Research work began after the aircrafts were shot down and led to the finding of parts of the first aircraft in the Achigvara village of Ochamchira village and those of the second one at a point where Gal converged with Tkvarchelsiki.

In response to Abkhazia, Maka Gigauri, a Georgian Foreign Ministry official, dismissed the announcement of Abkhazia as being a completely nonsensical piece of disinformation, deliberately intended to mount tension across the region.

Some of Georgia’s other Israeli-made spy aircrafts were shot down on March 18 and April 20. (Agency Caucasus)
