Cherkessk/Agency Caucasus – Fersa Energia Renovables SA, a well-known renewable energy company in Spain, seeks a chance to set up wind turbine in Karachay-Cherkessia.
The Spanish company will carry out a thorough field research before it sets out to work to establish a 530-megawatt power plant until 2010. It will produce electricity out of wind.
The field research is aimed at reaching a decision on whether or not the country offers reliable wind potential, according to the Ministry of Economics of Karachay-Cherkessia. If a positive decision is arrived at, then the power plant will be established.
