Saidov become university president at 32

Caharkala/Agency Caucasus – Zaurbek Saidov, 32, who was chairing the Youth Committee of Russia’s puppet Chechen government, was appointed as President of the Chechnya State University. 

Ramzan Kadyrov, President of Chechnya, introduced himself Saidov to members of academic staff after the appointment was granted official approval.

Representatives of education ministry and Adam Delimhanov, Chechnya’s representative in the Duma, attended the ceremony of introduction. Saidov vowed to do his best to make the Chechnya State University one of the best. Saidov graduated in 2000 from the Chechnya State Petroleum Institute. Since then, he was chairing the Youth Committee. Kadyrov awarded Saidov in 2007 a token of respect for Kadyrov’s father Ahmet Kadyrov. ÖZ/FT
