Vladikavkaz/Agency Caucasus – A recent research has led to the finding that the soil of North Ossetia contains huge petrol reservoirs.
North Ossetia is part of North Caucasus where there are reservoirs of expensive petrol as well, especially for use as aircraft fuel.
Two years of research led to the discovery of seven sources of petrol across North Ossetia. The kind of sources that were thought to be worth drilling are estimated to have 48mn tons of petrol. There are 140 fields of both petrol and natural gas across North Caucasus. RE/ÖZ/FT
