In Chechnya a street and park were named after kings of Jordan

Caharkala/Agency Caucasus – In Caharkala, capital of Chechnya, a street and park were named after the members of royal family of Jordan.


While an avenue was named after King Abdullah II of Jordan, a park was named after Hussein Ibn Talal, the late king of Jordan. ‘Earlier an agreement of partnership was signed between Caharkala and Amman, the capital of Jordan and one of the streets was named after Ramzan Kadyrov and a park was named after Akhmad Kadyrov’ one of the employees of Caharkala municipality said.

 

In the last years names of dozens of streets and squares were changed. Almost in all cities of the republic central streets were named after Akhmad Kadyrov. Besides, in 2000 two streets were named after Pskov paratrooper unit which took part in the invasion of Chechnya and Gennady Troshev who is a war criminal.
