Chief police officer killed in Nezran

Nezran/Agency Caucasus – A chief police officer was killed in an attack in the Nezran city of Ingushetiya, a Caucasian country that has recently become the locus of fierce fighting. 

Dembulat Bagolov, a chief police officer who fought organized crime, was shot dead in central Nezran on Monday night. The criminals were quick to flee from the scene. Bagolov was formerly in charge of the anti-terrorism department. 

On April 13, another assassination left dead in the city of Karabulak Vice Chairman of the High Court of Ingushetiya Hasan Yandiyev. On April 11, a police officer was killed in Malgobek, and another police officer was left injured on April 9 when a police car was detonated in Nezran. A similar incident occurred in Malgobek on April 7 as well. KU/ÖZ/FT
