Another Caucasian falls victim to racist violence

Moscow/Agency Caucasus – A statement released on Tuesday night from Russian security bodies said that a young man aged 22, who was from Kabardino-Balkaria, was found dead with several stab wounds to his body in eastern Moscow, capital of Russia.

There has been a recent rise in violence noticeably against Caucasians who live in Moscow. An Azeri was just stabbed to death in southern Moscow on February 10.

In December 2007, a Caucasian was stabbed to death by four young men while he was at home on the Presnenski Street in central Moscow.

In several Russian cities, 300 racist attacks by Russians were carried out in seven months alone in 2007, according to date from Sova, a center of analysis. KU/ÖZ/HT
