Ufa/Agency Caucasus – The Chechen public and cultural center Bart has organized various activities for two weeks in Ufa, capital of Bashkortostan.
The daily activities, called the Days of Chechen Culture, contain displays of national costumes, national instruments of music and paintings. The Chechen businessmen in Ufa are sponsoring such displays as they are organized with the help of Ufa City Directory of Gallery and local workers of culture.
Lom Ali Israilov is the person who chairs the Bart centre. He said that the Days of Chechen Culture served well to strengthen the real Chechen image, to improve international friendship and to increase the cultural interest among the sister people. GRZNINF/ÖZ/FT
