Nevinnomyssk – A passenger bus with 32 people onboard came under a bomb attack on Monday when it was en route from Pyatigorsk to Stavropol.
The bomb exploded, killed two and injured 13 when the bus stopped for a break at a central station in the town of Nevinnomyssk, Stavropol. Pieces of shrapnel and explosive equal in force to approximately 100-gram TNT were used in the bomb attack, said Stavropol’s Chief Police Officer Vikton Barnash. Another police officer said that one kilogram of explosive might have been used. Nobody took on the responsibility for the attack.
A similar bomb attack killed five people last month when it happened along the border between North Ossetia and Kabardino-Balkaria. (Agency Caucasus)
