Nalchik/Agency Caucasus – Nalchik, capital of Kabardino-Balkaria, will host a contest to select the best anthem for the city.
The Nalchik Municipality and the Union of Kabard-Balkar Compositors work jointly in the organization of this contest of composition and poetry, the applications for which will begin on June 16 and end on August 15.
Only those with their original works will be allowed to join the contest, according to the Nalchik Municipality officials. Formerly used works will not be allowed. The jury will announce the best anthem for the city after choosing it from among the works that qualify the August 15-20 eliminations. However, it is also important that the best anthem must qualify the stage of eliminations by members of the City Council of Nalchik. RE/ÖZ/FT
