Kadyrov removes his secretary-general from office

Dzhokhar-Khala/Agency Caucasus – Ramzan Kadyrov, pro-Russian President of Chechnya, has removed Abdulkadir Izraiylov from his post as his secretary-general.

"I signed the resolution that dismisses Abdulkadir Izraiylov as being no longer in his post as my secretary-general. Magomed Selimhanov, assistant secretary-general, will be my secretary-general until I appoint somebody else," Kadyrov told a press conference in Dzhokhar-Khala, capital of Chechnya.  

Magomed Baharchiyev, provincial president of the Leninsky area in Dzhokhar-Khala, was also dismissed from his post.  

Although Kadyrov declined to give a reason for such dismissals, he said that they were carried out in accordance with the Constitution of Chechnya. RE/ÖZ/FT
