Nalchik/Agency Caucasus – Arsen Kanokok, President of Kabardino-Balkaria, was one of the top official guests of an undergraduate student congress, which covered topics ranging from culture to sports, to health, to the republic’s budget, and to the allocation of work to the Kabardino-Balkaria people in the construction of Sochi olympics.
Azret Mirzoyev, President of the Student Council from North Caucasian Arts Institute, asked Kanokov to pay attention to his list of requests: Construction companies should be encouraged to unite in preparation for the Sochi olympics; The Student’s Spring Break in North Caucasus, which was formerly celebrated in Nalchik, should be revived; and student councils available in various universities should come up with several programs to help students that come from villages to adopt to city life.
Hasan Boziyev, President of the Student Council from Kabardino-Balkar State Agricultural Faculty, asked for the revival of production practices and for the formation of service areas where students can do some work. "Lots of students need to have a job to do in the afternoon. It is difficult for the young people to take a job without any experience."
Kanokov said that his administration has been attaching supreme importance to the training of young people in the hope that this would make national development swifter. He also said he would offer Krasnodar Governor Aleksander Tkachev to consider accepting a union of construction companies from Kabardino-Balkaria.
