According to the information of Russian State Statistical Office, in North Caucasian Federal District unemployment rate is % 16.7, which is two times more from the general unemployment rates in Russia. The unemployment rate is about %50 in Chechnya and Ingushetia. Unemployment rate in Ingushetia is % 46.9 and in Chechnya % 42.1.
The unemployment rates in other regions of North Caucasia are also higher than the general rates in Russia. Unemployment rates are: %13.9 in Dagestan, %12.7 in Kabardino-Balkaria, %11.2 in North Ossetia, %12.4 in Karachai-Cherkessia, and the as lowest of the region % 6.7 in Stavropol. RE/ÖZ/CY
