Nalchik/Agency Caucasus – Fatima Kanokova, wife of Arsen Kanokov, President of the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, was honoured by the Meet a Mum Association (MAMA) with a Golden Heart for her work of assistance with the children and the elderly.
Kanokova was given her award during the third Russian Mothers’ Forum in St. Petersburg.
Kanokova has closely dealt with the children in orphanages as well as with the elderly in asylums for the aged in Nalchik, the capital city of Kabardino-Balkaria.
She has made it her custom to pay annual visits to the children and the elderly and give them presents at Christmas.
