Warsaw/Agency Caucasus – Polish border guards arrested on Friday four Chechens for seeking illegal entry from Poland into Germany.
The four Chechens, now kept in detention in the immigration center, could not leave Poland for any other European Union country, because they did not hold a Schengen visa, even if they had a refugee status, said Mariush Skshinski, a border official in the German town of Lübeck. Skshinski further said that someone Polish who guided the Chechens was also put under police arrest.
In late January, 18 Chechens got arrested for trying to get illegal entry into Germany. KU/ÖZ/FT
