Moscow/Agency Caucasus – Member of Anti-Terrorism Committee and vice chairman of Caucasia Commission Aleksandr Torshin thinks that financial support to North Caucasian districts, where terrorist activities frequently occur, should be stopped.
“As a member of Anti-Terrorism Committee I want to say something to the leaders of Caucasian Republics: if you let that kind of activities to happen in your regions then financial support from federal center needs to be stopped and pended till order restored” said Torshin.
Torshin said “Who wants to go to Kabardino-Balkaria after these incidents? If we stop aid from federal budget and the regions feel that, owners of cafes, restaurants and ski resorts will come together, stand for the safety of their establishments and would take precautions to ensure security.” ABKHZY/ÖZ/CY
