Madrasah teacher and his students were kidnapped in Chechnya

Caharkala/Agency Caucasus – A madrasah teacher and his 3 students were kidnapped by masked men in military uniforms in the town of Gudermes in Chechnya.

According to the statement of Memorial human rights organization, on 11 August armed men in military uniforms kidnapped madrasah teacher Roman Magomadov, 30, from his home, which is located on the Griboyedov street. Magomadov’s family appealed to the regional administration, but they were told that administration can not help them.

Magomadovs students at the madrasah Rustam Seliyev, 25, Vishan Gelishanov, 24 and Ruslan Sakkazov were also kidnapped in a similar way on the same day. It’s stated that the men who kidnapped the students were also masked and wearing military uniforms and driving cars with out license plate. There is no information about the teacher and his students yet.
