Sukhum blames Georgian Interior Ministry for Gali attack

Sukhum/Agency Caucasus – President Sergei Bagapsh of Abkhazia’s Special Envoy Ruslan Kishmariya for Gali held Georgia responsible for the terrorist attacks that took place in several parts of the country.

The Sunday attack that led to the killing of four people in Gali was plotted by the Interior Ministry of Georgia, said Kishmariya. 

"The investigation already in effect shows that senior officials of the Georgian Interior Ministry are behind this attack. We can even identify its masterminds," said Kishmariya.

The Georgian administration dismissed Kishmariya’s accusations as being nonsense and ungrounded. 

At attack on a cafe in Gali killed a local chief police officer, a United Nations interpreter, a waiter and a soldier.
