Nezran/Agency Caucasus – Several Ingush non-governmental organizations combined their means and launched the first copy of a new newspaper in order to get their voice heard.
The first copy of Ingushetiya’s Social Tribune, a four-page newspaper, was successfully put into circulation on January 31 after the Co-ordination Council of the Non-governmental Organizations of the Ingush Republic decided to support the launch of the new newspaper financially.
In its first issue, the newspaper was designed to cover the significant public gathering on January 31. It was significant because it would address most of the well-known social, political and security problems.
The first issue of Ingushetiya’s Social Tribune also addressed the question of how to demarcate the Republic of Ingushetiya.
Future issues of the newspaper will come out as long as there is enough financial support for it to cover new topics on the agenda.
