Amman – The Dagestani Muslim pilgrims created an interesting picture to photograph when they took a break in Amman, the capital of Jordan, while they were returning from Saudi Arabia.
The Dagestani Muslim pilgrims are selling on their way to Saudi Arabia some goods that they bring with themselves from Dagestan. They also sell goods that they buy from Mecca, a city in western Saudi Arabia, each time they take a break on their way back to Dagestan.
Muhammed Edu Hosh, an Associated Press photographer, had the chance to photograph the Dagestani Muslim pilgrims selling pots and pans in Amman. These people hope to earn enough to pay for their travel costs if they can sell the rest of their goods in Syria and Turkey as well. (Agency Caucasus)
