Abkhazia and South Ossetia agrees to improve cultural relations

Sukhum/Agency Caucasus – Administrations of both Abkhazia and South Ossetia agree to improve cultural cooperation.

Nugzar Logua and Tamerlan Dzutsev, the two ministers of culture from both countries, signed an agreement to improve cultural cooperation.

Sukhum, capital of Abkhazia, has already begun hosting a series of activities to mark this year as "The Year of South Ossetia." One such activity is an exhibition of arts gallery in the Central Exhibition Hall. It is meant to display publicly the works of art by such Ossetian artists as Tsovrebov, Bestayev, Alborov, Sabanov, Abayev, Kesoyev and Gabarev.

The Abkhazian State Theatre hosted a concert performance, too. Among the guests were artists, groups of dancers, and culture workers from South Ossetia.
